We strengthen the design department

We have welcomed Christian Torp to the Construction department

The continued increase in demand for our ASTRO feeding systems has really given our Design Department a growing pains. We have therefore had the pleasure of adding another desk and expanding the team with Christian Torp, who has joined as Design Engineer.

Christian originally comes from the small town of Tinglev in Southern Jutland, where he trained as a cabinetmaker. The first many years of his working life were spent producing specialty shop fittings, kitchens and boat fittings.

Unfortunately, Christian suffered an injury a couple of years ago that meant he could no longer handle the physical, hard work. He therefore decided to change his life and start his education as a Production Technologist in Odense, which he completed this summer.

Our former intern, now colleague, Danni, was also in school with Christian. This relationship led Christian to us in Middelfart, where we quickly realized that an "old" woodworker can easily learn new tricks!

Christian currently lives in Horsens, Denmark, and when he is not spending his day-to-day life working with feeding systems and automation solutions, he is interested in the history of the Middle Ages, when he is not looking after the young people at Smukfest, through his work as a volunteer.
